Princess B. Gadson is a multifaceted writer and author from Jasper County, South Carolina. She began writing poetry at the age of 10. Princess obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Journalism from Claflin University in 2015. In 2014, she was awarded the South Carolina Collegiate Journalist of the Year Award by the South Carolina Press Association. Upon graduating college, she became a news reporter, interviewing former First Lady of the US and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the late Congressman John Lewis, Congressman James "Jim" Clyburn, and several others. With over 300 published news stories, her work has appeared in national publications like the Associated Press and the Washington Times. In 2020, she published her first children's book, The Very Last Chocolate Chip Cookie, which is available for purchase on Amazon. Princess currently writes as a contributing writer for HBCU Times Magazine.
